John Deacon
                             

John Richard Deacon was born 19/8 1951 in Oadby, Leicestershire. 1956 he went to Oadby Infants School. Later 1962 he started at beauchamp Grammar School in Liecester.

Eleven years old he bought his first acoustic guitar. He and his friend formed a band "The Opposition" when he was fourteen, were John played the rhythm guitar. Later the bas player left the band and John started his music life as a bas player. The band changes their name to Art 1968. One year later john started in Chelsea College in London to study Electronics.

1971 John join the group Queen (after testing six bas players). "We just knew he was the right one, even though he was quiet. He hardly spoke to us at all" Brian was to say later.
